JEWELRY AND FASHION SHOW
The island of Aruba got its name from the ancient gold miners. Aruba means "red gold" ("ore" for gold + "ruba" for red.) The miners have long since gone and now the tourists come searching for gold! And find it in the luxurious jewelry shops of Aruba, which has the finest, imported jewelry from around the world. Spouses can enjoy an elegant Jewelry and Fashion Show right in your own hotel, poolside or in a private area. The models, fashions and jewelry are all provided and make for an exciting 1-hour show. Each guest receives a personal gift bag, compliments of one of the island’s finest jewelry stores. This activity is only offered to groups exclusively.
COOKING CLASSES
Have fun learning how to prepare the most festive Aruban cuisine. Guests receive a personalized Aruban cookbook, signed by its local author. This activity is only offered to groups exclusively.
POTTERY CLASSES
Guests are always surprised to find a wide selection of handcrafted items made by native Arubans. These crafts are demonstrated exclusively for our guests by island artisans. So let your imaginations run wild, and learn how to create and design your own traditional Aruban handcraft and pottery souvenirs. Demos will be on display for guests to view.
