DAYTIME ACTIVITIES AND TOURS
HELICOPTER TOUR
See Aruba from a different perspective. From above while flying around in a helicopter. This tour is an opportunity for guests to see Aruba in less than half the time while enjoying a different type of adventure.
DISCOVER SCUBA DIVE COURSE
Diving in Aruba is famous for the spectacular shipwrecks and interesting coral formations that dominate Aruba’s underwater realm. This includes the 400-foot long “Antilla," one of the largest wrecks in the Caribbean.
KAYAK ADVENTURE
For a pleasant and casual seagoing journey, try kayaking! The adventure begins with a demonstration and after training guests are ready for a day of fun. The guides begin the excursion in the calm tranquil waters off the beautiful south coast, hugging the coastal mangroves and passing the legendary “Spanish Lagoon”, once the hiding place for the famed pirates of the Caribbean. The excursion continues across the De Palm Island lagoon which offers a perfect spot to beach comb and snorkel. After relaxing and enjoying lunch, guests will continue the journey passing Aruba’s Nautical Club with its splendid yachts.
WINDSURFING LESSONS
Aruba, with its perfect combination of temperature, wind strength and water conditions for beginners and expert windsurfers, is well known as one of the best places on earth to practice windsurfing. Fisherman's Huts is an ideal spot for beginners to learn windsurfing and for advanced sailors to blast their way over the water. It is safe and perfectly flat with waist deep water.
ARUBA’S ADRENALINE-RUSH “SCREAMER”
This incredible twin-engine, 1000 HP, turbo-charged jet boat provides 60 non-stop minutes of fun and excitement as it weaves in and out, throwing walls of ocean spray around your guests. They will experience a mix of high-speed runs, 180-degree spins, wild fishtails, awesome power slides and unbelievable brake-stops that will have them screaming for more. The “Screamer” is the perfect adrenaline rush for adventure thrill seekers of all ages.
DEEP SEA FISHING
For an exclusive deep sea fishing expedition, guests are pre-assigned in groups of up to 6 participants per boat. Sailfish, white and blue marlin, Wahoo, shark, barracuda, amberjack, kingfish, and black-fin and yellow-fin tuna are abundant, depending on the season. The experienced captain and his/her first mate will help guests bring in any fish, even if they have little previous experience. Groups can sail for either a full day or a half-day on many of the fishing boats. Besides getting the captain, the boat, and the crew, guests also receives soft drinks and tackle with complete gear.
ATLANTIS SUBMARINE
Explore Aruba’s mysterious underwater realm where you can witness the remains of two shipwrecks, spectacular coral reefs and an abundance of colorful sea life. Atlantis VI, Aruba's only real submarine adventure offers guests multiple dive sites through the living world of the Barcadera Reefs, the mysteriously sunken airplane or the graceful lady of the deep, the retired Mi Dushi, a 70 year old Danish fishing schooner. All the dive sites have very intriguing stories, which will keep you fascinated during the hour-long narration of the co-pilot. Guests will be mesmerized by the color and abundance of exotic fish, spectacular sponge gardens, unusual marine creatures and fascinating formations which are unveiled through the crystal-clear view ports. After the dive, guests receive an official dive certificate as proof of having been to the comfortable depths of 150 feet on the only real submarine adventure in Aruba!
FUN SAIL AND CATAMARAN SNORKEL SAIL
A 4-hour snorkeling trip including lunch, limited bar, instructions and equipment and a dazzling spectacle from the sea! Snorkeling is one of the best ways to discover Aruba's underwater marine life. Guests may also enjoy the stunning Aruban sunset aboard the sunset cruise. This relaxing sail is the perfect way to end a vacation day. The catamarans may be chartered for all types of special occasions. These vessels feature two marine bathrooms, two sunning nets, plenty of seating space, stereo music and a fully stocked bar. A special swimming ladder makes it easy for passengers to step into the water for snorkeling. A friendly crew of three is always on hand to make the sail a wonderful experience.
